about

"Luna" included in The Controversy's second album "Don't Count On Me".
The Los Angeles electronic art-pop duo invites you on a journey through intricate electronic beats, psychedelic ambiance and unusual pop melodies. With U&I Magazine naming their single "Queen of Chinatown" as #1 Single of 2014, FourCulture Magazine proclaiming the band as one of the Best Artist of 2014 and recent features and premieres on Buzzbands LA, Free Bike Valet Magazine, The Deli Magazine, Polari UK, Impose Magazine, there's expectation being build around the duo's second album "Don't Count On Me", to be released on February 2015.

Originally from Spain and Denmark, The Controversy's sound is influenced by artists like St Vincent, Beck, Air, Miike Snow, Portishead, Bjork and Massive Attack and has been described as a "seamless mash up of electronica with psychedelic rock". The Controversy has released two singles ("Queen of Chinatown" and "Two Voices") from their upcoming second album and will release a third one, “You Know” on January 12th.

lyrics

Luna de fuego sentada en el mar
Bella durmiente bañándose en paz
Olas de oro son tu cuna
Y suave viento tu balanceo

Oigo tu llamada.
Dejando el mundo atrás,
Uniendome con la noche.

Estoy de camino,
espérame luna de fuego,
Hasta el fondo del mar
Luna, lunita, llévame contigo,
Luna, lunita, llévame contigo,
Luna, lunita, llévame contigo.
