about

"Thirty Horses Gently Weep" included in The Controversy's second album "Don't Count On Me".
The Los Angeles electronic art-pop duo invites you on a journey through intricate electronic beats, psychedelic ambiance and unusual pop melodies. With U&I Magazine naming their single "Queen of Chinatown" as #1 Single of 2014, FourCulture Magazine proclaiming the band as one of the Best Artist of 2014 and recent features and premieres on Buzzbands LA, Free Bike Valet Magazine, The Deli Magazine, Polari UK, Impose Magazine, there's expectation being build around the duo's second album "Don't Count On Me", to be released on February 2015.

Originally from Spain and Denmark, The Controversy's sound is influenced by artists like St Vincent, Beck, Air, Miike Snow, Portishead, Bjork and Massive Attack and has been described as a "seamless mash up of electronica with psychedelic rock". The Controversy has released two singles ("Queen of Chinatown" and "Two Voices") from their upcoming second album and will release a third one, “You Know” on January 12th.

lyrics

Tell me something I don't know,
Something that I used to know, love.

Maybe it was just a dream
Undressing me for the sin, love.

And all you long,
And all you see,
And all you do
Is for me.

You were the air,
I burst to breathe,
I'm gasping now within.

Oh, (And all I wanted)
If I could feel, (And all I need)
If I could feel, (And all the feelings)
I know you want it (You want it)

Oh, (And all you wanted)
If your eyes could see, (And all you need)
If my eyes could see, (And all the feelings)
I know you want it (You want it)
I know you want it (You want it)

Tell me something I don't know,
Something that I used to know, love

Touch me slowly, breathe me in,
Thirty horses gently weep, love.

And all you long,
And all you see,
And all you do
Is for me.

You were the air,
I burst to breathe,
I'm gasping now within.

Oh, (And all I wanted)
If I could feel, (And all I need)
If I could feel, (And all the feelings)
I know you want it (You want it)

Oh, (And all you wanted)
If your eyes could see, (And all you need)
If my eyes could see, (And all the feelings)
I know you want it (You want it)
I know you want it (You want it)
